A Milestone Moment for Maple Street

On June 1st, Maple Street School students, families, faculty, trustees, donors, and friends gathered to celebrate a milestone years in the making: the ceremonial groundbreaking for our campus expansion project.

The morning began with our last Monday All-School Meeting of the year, before Head of School Dan Skoglund and Board Chair Amanda Baer shared remarks about the significance of the moment. Surrounded by cheering students, including some of the youngest and oldest members of our school community, participants picked up ceremonial shovels and officially broke ground on Maple Street’s future.

This project is part of our Opening New Doors capital campaign, a transformative initiative centered on three priorities: One Campus, One Community, Access & Affordability, and Faculty Excellence. Together, these investments will strengthen Maple Street School for generations to come.

While the groundbreaking marks an exciting milestone, it is not the finish line. We remain in the midst of the Opening New Doors campaign and continue to build momentum toward our goal.
