Lower

Lower (K-3rd): Maple Street School’s Lower School provides a nurturing and dynamic environment for our youngest learners, spanning grades K-3. This stage is dedicated to building a strong foundation in core academic skills such as writing, reading, language development, public speaking, mathematics, social studies, and science. In addition to academics, our curriculum emphasizes the importance of fostering social interactions and encouraging emotional growth.

Through engaging and interactive lessons, students are introduced to critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration, setting the stage for lifelong learning. The lower school experience is enriched with regular classes in art, physical education, French, and music, ensuring a well-rounded education.

We place a strong emphasis on our core values of community, respect, and responsibility, guiding students in building friendships, making decisions, and working cooperatively. Each child’s unique learning style is recognized and nurtured, with teachers providing individualized support to help students achieve success and meet challenges at their own developmental levels.
