Mr. Welch received his bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University in English and then went on to receive his master’s degree in creative writing. He has taught at Melrose High School, The Renaissance Charter School, and Portland Community College. He continues to write and publish fiction and is passionate about the outdoors.
