Wendy McCreight

Wendy McCreight has been a dedicated resident of Vermont for 12 years, where she enjoys trail running, hiking, telemark skiing, and actively participating in community events. She is the proud mother of two boys, Toby, 10, and Eli, 12. Wendy is deeply committed to the power of connecting people and fostering a culture of care within communities.

 

Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an Outdoor Education option and a minor in Elementary Education from the University of New Hampshire, and she earned a Special Education Alternative Licensure Certificate from San Juan College. Her professional experience includes teaching in public schools, directing an outdoor educational program, and leading community care projects. She has successfully collaborated with local non-profits, public schools, and community leaders to develop initiatives that emphasize kindness, respect, and human connection.

 

Wendy is eager to bring her expertise and passion for community building to Maple Street School as a Learning Specialist.
