Holly Wendell

Holly Wendell brings almost 30 years of experience as an educator, administrator, and coach in independent schools. She most recently served as Assistant Head of School and Dean of Students at Stratton Mountain School, where she had worked since 2007. In addition to her leadership roles, Holly has taught a wide range of subjects including Middle School Science, STEM, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Chemistry, and Biology.

 

Holly began her career in education at Belmont Hill School, later taking on leadership and teaching roles at Catholic Memorial School and Salisbury School before moving to Vermont. Across these schools, she has developed a student-centered, hands-on approach to teaching, with a particular affinity for the middle school years. 

 

Holly holds a bachelor’s degree from Colby College, where she was captain of both the varsity tennis and squash teams. Holly brings deep experience in supporting both academic and social-emotional growth; Certified in ALICE training, FEMA emergency management, and Mental Health First Aid. She lives in East Dorset with her family.
