Linda Burnett
Linda Burnett brings over two decades of teaching experience, including 18 years at The Mountain School at Winhall, where she was deeply respected by students, families, and colleagues alike. Known for her calm presence, professionalism, and dedication to student growth, Linda has consistently been recognized as one of the most trusted and admired educators in the region.
Her career spans multiple grade levels, including Pre-K through grade six, and she is well-versed in curriculum development, classroom management, and differentiated instruction. Linda is trained in Responsive Classroom and the RULER approach from the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, and she has participated in a wide range of professional development programs including the Vermont Writing Project and Project Learning Tree. She is also experienced in supporting students with behavioral plans and diverse learning needs.
Linda now returns to Maple Street as our 4th grade homeroom teacher and will also teach math to both 4th and 5th grades. Her deep experience, thoughtfulness, and steady presence will be a tremendous asset to our learning community.
